In the standardisation of key principles for clinical handover, the Acute Care Taskforce has worked closely with a broad stakeholder group, at local facility, health service, state and national levels.

The Health Services Performance Improvement Branch (HSPIB) at NSW Health is responsible for the operationalisation of ACT led programs.  HSPIB develop appropriate policies and procedures to support the management of the ACT programs. HSPIB uses Redesign methodology to work collaboratively with clinicians and mangers to generate sustainable change and improve patient care.
