Health Professional Considered Travel When Planning Treatment

Health professionals need to consider our patients and carers ability to travel when planning for future treatment and care. Travel restrictions include long distances, lack of public transport, carer's commitments or the patient may feel too unwell to travel. If our patients are not receiving planned treatment and care as a direct result of inability to travel it may have an impact on the patients wellbeing and recovery time.
