Patient and Carer Experience Solutions Workshop
This workshop aimed to support managers and leaders in NSW by sharing ideas and projects from teams that have successfully improved the experience of patients and carers.
The presentations showcase successful initiatives from Queensland and NSW Health.
Information for Patients in the Emergency Department
NSW Health has developed resources aimed at helping patients understand the Emergency Department.
There is a brochure called "Welcome to the Emergency Department" and a poster describing the staff roles in the ED.
NSW Health Advisory Councils Convention
Designed as a working convention to support Health Advisory Councils, the program provided a forum for:
- Consulting Health Advisory Councils on the implementation of Caring Together.
- Health Advisory Councils to undertake planning for the implementation of Caring Together.
- Identifying new ways to support and facilitate relationships between Health Advisory Councils, clinicians, consumers and Area Health Service executives for improved performance.
Can You Help?
ARCHI runs an enquiry service for members, where we tap into the fabulous resource that is the knowledge, expertise and experience of our membership. Below is our current question:
- Does anyone have any information on existing exercise groups within the public health system to assist in management of obesity?
- One of our members from a psycho oncology service is interested in hearing from other similar services to share resources and ideas.
- Does anyone have a framework for nursing documentation they can recommend?
