The team at South Eastern Sydney Local Health District have developed a training DVD to introduce health professionals to Motivational Interviewing, sometimes known as "Change Talk". Motivational Interviewing is a technique that health professionals can use as a brief intervention to support clients to make positive lifestyle changes.

Green Cleaning System
The Green Cleaning System is a hygienic and infection free cleaning system, which was introduced in Long Bay Hospital in 2008.
This system has many advantages over conventional cleaning systems, including a decrease in the use of chemicals, equipment and water use. It has reduced Work, Health & Safety related hazards such as heavy lifting, wringing of mops, bending and twisting. It has also reduced the microbial levels and thus the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections.
