Patient Flow: Demand and Capacity Predictive Tool

The Demand and Capacity Predictive Tool is a module of the Patient Flow Portal and is accessed through the Patient Flow Portal Log In.

The Predictive Tool provides staff with a fourteen day view of their predicted capacity and demand to assist in planning for future activity.

Elements of the Tool include:

  • Making a 14 day prediction
  • Assessing the accuracy of predictions
  • Identifying reasons for insufficient available capacity

Flag and Track

The aim of the Flag and Track program is to provide the opportunity for stroke patients to be reassessed for suitability to undertake a rehabilitation program to improve their quality of life.

The program followed up patients approximately 8-12 weeks post stroke, and included assessment of any natural recovery and also provided an opportunity for appropriate patients to access the inpatient rehabilitation program.

Can you help?

ARCHI runs an enquiry service, where we tap into the knowledge and experience of our network of health professionals. We are currently looking for:

  • examples of active transport initiatives for health staff, that is, programs encouraging the use of walking or cycling to work, or bicycles included in the car pools, etc.
  • practical models to guide the set up of Community Advisory Groups

If you can help, or want to ask a question of your own, contact Catherine Knight, Resource Coordinator and Analyst, admin@archi.net.au Phone: 02 4926 7992.
