Australian Triage Process Review

The Australian Triage Process Review will assess the effectiveness of current triage processes in supporting ED models of care, streaming patients into appropriate models of care, and the need for complexity tools at triage.

The project commenced November 1, 2010 and will be carried out over 6-months. The review will cover all aspect of the triage process, from a patient's presentation to ED until referral into the appropriate model of care.

On completion of the review, the aim is to develop:

Innovation Register

The Innovation Register is a new space on ARCHI to share and update your project summaries. We want to make it easy for you to tell us and your peers about your work.

The Innovations register can also provide ready-made and tested solutions to some of the problems many teams are facing in delivering safe and effective healthcare.

Can You Help?

ARCHI runs an enquiry service, where we tap into our knowledge and experience of our network of health professionals. Below is a current question:

Does anyone have a policy on the care of older people prior to procedures or operations?

If you can help, or want to ask a question of your own, contact Catherine Knight, Resource Coordinator and Analyst, admin@archi.net.au Phone: 02 4926 7992.
