Emergency Models of Care

The Models of Emergency Care described here have been developed as part of NSW Health's Clinical Services Redesign Program (CSRP). CSRP seeks to fundamentally redesign health care systems to ensure that each patient journey is safe and of the highest quality.
These pages outline the models of care required to support the ideal emergency patient journey. They provides examples of local, national and international best practice care. They present a distilled set of possible solutions for emergency care, supplemented with experiences from other jurisdictions (national and international) and from the published literature.
