Abstract

NSW Health invests considerable resources in enhancing the quality and safety of care through supporting Clinical Leadership Programs, Innovations Scholarships, and Clinical Redesign Initiatives.

These projects contribute significantly to the effectiveness and efficiencies of individual services. The challenge is how to value our strengths and work collaboratively with others, minimising time and resources wasted in duplicating these efforts time and again, and facilitating the transfer of key learnings from individual services, across NSW Health.

This paper describes the Writing for Publication project. A Framework that blends workshops and coaching sessions, providing participants with the knowledge, skill and collegial support that will enable them to translate their new ideas and approaches into a publishable format that can be disseminated to others.
