Abstract
Recruitment and retention of nurses within SSWAHS has historically been a process that did not adequately meet the needs of the organisation.
With the formation of SSWAHS on 1/2005 came significant nursing workforce problems. Over the past 3 years partnerships were established to increase our local, national and international profile, increase the rate of selection by employees as the employer of choice and to create development opportunities for staff.
