What is Redesign?
Put simply Redesign is a way of analysing a problem to find a solution that works in the NSW health system.
We manage patient journeys, we measure patient journeys, and when something’s not working we Redesign the processes to improve patient journeys.
We work with teams in the Area Health Services and local facilities to identify when there’s something affecting patient care. Through Redesign we change the way we do things to result in a better experience for patients, carers and staff.
So far over 75 Redesign projects have successfully been implemented.
Redesign is NOT about increasing workload, cutting corners or shrinking budgets. It’s all about good organisation, and making sure we don’t waste the time, materials and resources that we have.
