Centre For Healthcare Redesign
Launched in NSW in August 2007 the Centre for Healthcare Redesign provides a way of training healthcare staff to implement Redesign projects.
Once the training course is complete the participants will take up roles as Redesign Engineers and Patient Journey Owners in their Area Health Service. This way we will create our own specialist team equipped to provide the NSW health system with our own internal Redesign capability.
The course combines theoretic learning with practical implementation. The full course is delivered in 13 modules and involves 20 days of classroom training spread out over 16 weeks. Participants will apply their learning to a real project, which will be implemented as part of the course. Alternately shorter courses are possible by concentrating only on specific modules.
It is also intended to make the content easily available through e-learning modules for staff who are unable to attend the course or who want to focus on a specific module.
